RMSEL athletics extend our commitment to learning, teamwork, character, and Crew.
FALL 2026 MIDDLE SCHOOL SPORTS
Fall athletics are open to students in grades 5–8:
• Boys Soccer
• Girls Volleyball
• Co-ed Cross Country
• Co-ed Ultimate Frisbee
Fifth-grade students may participate. Playing time and team placement may depend on team size and competitive needs.
GENERAL SCHEDULE AND EXPECTATIONS
Middle school practices are held after school, generally on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 3:20–4:30 p.m. Exact practice days vary by team.
Games are held on weekdays and generally begin between 4:00 and 4:30 p.m. Tournament play follows the regular season. Registered families receive schedule changes and transportation details directly from the Athletic Department.
Student-athletes must meet RMSEL academic and behavior expectations to participate.

GIRLS VOLLEYBALL
• Location: RMSEL Gym
• Regular practices: Mondays and Fridays, 3:20–4:30 p.m.

• Required gear: Knee pads, athletic shoes, and a water bottle

CO-ED CROSS COUNTRY
• Location: Ash Grove and surrounding areas for off-campus runs

• Required gear: Running shoes, a snack, and a water bottle

CO-ED ULTIMATE FRISBEE
• Location: Ash Grove
• Required gear: Athletic shoes or cleats
• The competition schedule is being finalized.
REGISTRATION AND PAYMENT
Families with registered middle school athletes must submit the $250 participation fee by Friday, August 28. Checks should be made payable to RMSEL. Cash and check payments may be submitted to the RMSEL front office. A completed athletics packet must be on file before a student may participate.
CO-ED MOUNTAIN BIKING
RMSEL's Mountain Bike Team is open to students in grades 7–12.
• Season: August 11–October 29
• Practices: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 3:30–5:30 p.m.
• Meeting location: RMSEL adventure gear shed
• Practice route: Cherry Creek Trail and Village Greens Bike Park
• Head coach: Cam Miller

Tuesday academic support takes priority when required. Students in grades 7–8 may participate in team practices and the middle-school race but may not participate in high-school races.
Fees paid to RMSEL: $316 for grades 7–8, $411 for grades 9–12, and $251 for outgoing seniors. Checks should be payable to RMSEL with “MB Team” in the memo. Optional race-registration fees are paid separately by families.
